What is The Mountain Collective? The Mountain Collective is an unprecedented collaboration between the world’s best independent resorts.

The 2017/2018 Mountain Collective pass is on sale from the 7th of March 2017 giving you access to the southern hemisphere resorts ski season from June through to October 2017. 

A 2017/2018 Mountain Collective Pass means you get to enjoy 32 days complimentary skiing -  2 days at each of these 16 resorts:

2017 3 Peak Pass holders receive:

  • The 2017 3 Peak Pass Mountain Collective benefits are applicable from June 1st 2017 until May 31st 2018 - winter 2017 season in the Southern Hemisphere and winter 2017-2018 season in the Northern Hemisphere.


2018 3 Peak Pass holders receive: 

  • The 2018 3 Peak Pass Mountain Collective benefits are applicable from June 1st 2018 until May 31st 2019 - winter 2018 season in the Southern Hemisphere and winter 2018/2019 season in the Northern Hemisphere.

What do I get when I join the Mountain Collective? Those who join the Mountain Collective receive two free days of skiing or riding, unlimited 50% off single day lift tickets thereafter, and exclusive lodging deals at each of these 16 destinations: Alta (Utah), Aspen Snowmass (Colorado), Banff Sunshine (Alberta), Coronet Peak/The Remarkables (New Zealand), Jackson Hole (Wyoming), Lake Louise (Alberta), Mammoth Mountain, (California), Revelstoke (British Columbia), Snowbasin (Utah), Snowbird (Utah), Sugarbush (Vermont), Sun Valley (Idaho), Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows (California), Taos (New Mexico), Telluride (Colorado) and Thredbo (Australia). 

Why should I join early and buy now? The pass price of $399USD is the guaranteed lowest price for 2017-18 season. Guests who purchase during the sale (begins on March 7) are able to select a bonus day at the resort destination of their choice. Kids passes are only $1 for a limited time. Quantities of the sales promotion are limited and will run out. Pricing and promotions are subject to change at any time.

How does the third bonus day work? Guests who purchase a Mountain Collective pass during the spring sale, must choose one destination to receive the third bonus day, which must be selected at the time of purchase and will be displayed on the confirmation email. During the 2017/2018 season, guests who purchased during the spring sale will receive three complimentary days at this one destination and will then be eligible to purchase additional days at 50% off. 
*Please note: The third bonus day cannot be changed once an order has been completed.

What about the $1 kids passes? For each full price adult pass purchased, guests may purchase one kids pass (12 and under at time of purchase) for $1 USD up until the 7th of April 2017. From 7th April kids passes are $99 USD. Additional kids passes may be purchased for $99. 

Which destinations are Global Affiliates and what do I get from them? Global Affiliate resorts include Chamonix (France), Hakuba Valley (Japan) and Valle Nevado (Chile) Guests receive two free days only at each destination – no 50% off days or lodging discounts.

What changes are there to the Mountain Collective destinations for the 2017-18 season? Beginning with the 2017-18 season, Sugarbush, Vermont and Snowbasin, Utah are new destinations. In addition, Alta, Snowbird, Banff Sunshine and Lake Louise have been divided and are now considered four separate destinations. Whistler Blackcomb and Stowe are no longer part of the Mountain Collective.

What is the difference between a DESTINATION and a MOUNTAIN? Guests will receive two days of skiing at each DESTINATION, not MOUNTAIN.

For example, guests receive two free days of skiing between Alpine Meadows and Squaw Valley, as those two mountains are the same destination. This is also true for the Aspen mountains (Highlands, Buttermilk, Snowmass and Aspen); the Mammoth Resorts (Mammoth Mountain, June Mountain, Bear Mountain, and Snow Summit); Queenstown, New Zealand ski areas: Coronet Peak and The Remarkables; Sun Valley’s Dollar & Bald mountains.

Are there any blackout dates for redeeming my first two days or 50% off tickets? There are no blackout dates with the Mountain Collective Pass or the 50% off lift tickets

What lodging deals are offered to Mountain Collective Pass holders? Mountain Collective Pass holders get exclusive access to great lodging deals at each of the Mountain Collective destinations. More information on specific lodging discounts is available at *Please note: Some lodging properties will have blackout dates, in which Mountain Collective Pass holders are not eligible for a discount. Please note that Queenstown, New Zealand ski areas Coronet Peak and The Remarkables do not offer lodging.

When is the Mountain Collective pass valid at Southern Hemisphere resorts Thredbo, Coronet Peak and The Remarkables? The 2017/2018 Mountain Collective Pass is valid during the 2017 ski season at Thredbo, Coronet Peak and The Remarkables. Passes for the 2017 Southern Hemisphere season are available now. 2016/17 passes are not valid during the 2017 Southern Hemisphere ski season.

Where do I pick up my Mountain Collective Pass? Upon purchase you will receive an email confirmation and a unique barcode number which you will use to redeem your pass at each destination.

Premium passholders at Mountain Collective Resorts can purchase unlimited 50% off single day tickets at the other Mountain Collective Resorts. We recommend reaching out to the resort you're interested in visiting to inquire about specific details. Premium passholders can purchase up to five (5) half price tickets at each Global Affiliate Destination.
