Mt Hutt has been voted New Zealand's best ski resort three years running at the World Ski Awards - that's 2015, 2016 and 2017. A true alpine experience, Mt Hutt has wide open terrain with leg burning runs, monster snowfalls (almost 6 metres of snow last season), and spectacular views over the Canterbury Plains. You've not skied in New Zealand until you've skied Hutt!
Get the best of both worlds! The big mountain experience waits for you at The Remarkables, just a short drive from central Queenstown. Find your freedom as you drop into sun-soaked bowls and world-renowned chutes or freestyle it in the park. The Remarks is also home to the legendary Burton Stash, one of only six in the world! From the Remarkables you can take in the stunning views across the Wakatipu Basin, to Coronet Peak where roller-coaster terrain awaits.
Only 25 minutes from central Queenstown, The Peak was New Zealand's first commercial ski field (our 70th birthday last year!) celebrating good times since 1947. The roller-coaster terrain of Coronet Peak is a local secret. Very little snow is required to make Coronet Peak great and when it hits, head out west onto Greengates and experience some of the most beautiful, powdery terrain that NZ has to offer. It's the home of Night Ski every Wed, Fri and Sat night and when combined with first tracks makes for the longest ski day in NZ! Coronet Peak also proudly boasts to have the most advanced snow making system in the Southern Hemisphere!
Our 3 Peak Season Pass has zero school holiday blackout days! This means unlimited riding for you, your family and all your mates! Not all season passes are created equal and some of our competitors low ball you with prices, only to reveal that your season pass cannot be used for 19 days from July 3 - July 21!
Coronet Peak will light it up for a massive 33 nights in 2018! Every Wed, Fri and Sat night from late June to early September. Check out epic sunsets overlooking Queenstown before you send it down epic floodlit trails with your mates. Experience après ski with hot pizza and mulled wine on the heated outdoor deck beside a roaring fire or dance while the DJ spins tunes. Night Ski is a bucket list activity when you come to Queenstown this winter. Big beats, great vibes, good times.
