Coronet Peak is closed today due to gale force winds across the mountain and lightning making it unsafe to open. Tomorrow is looking much better with the added bonus of new snow in the forecast. We hope to see you all then. Look out for Coronet Peak Staff collecting for Orphans aid around Queenstown today. Please give generously.

Currently strong northwest winds affecting the entire mountain. Metservice Forecast, Rain near the headwaters with heavy falls and thunderstorms. Scattered falls further east. Snow to 1800 meters Gale force winds expected today.
International alpine chic has arrived at Coronet Peak as we welcome Clicquot in the Snow event will be at Coronet Peak. Clicquot in the Snow offers locals and Queenstown visitors a chance to paint the town yellow and toast the winter season with one of the world's finest champagnes. Come visit the pop-up bar on the deck and enjoy a spot of golf while your at it!

Upcoming Events

The day doesn’t have to end at 4pm.  On Friday and Saturday night the Coronet Express and the Meadows Express stay open until 9pm.  Have some runs under lights, grab a pizza from the restaurant and sit round one of the braziers on the deck.  What a great end to the day.
