BURTON FREESTYLE SESSIONS

Burton Freestyle Sessions are designed for those who want to express themselves on the snow while improving technique and trying new things in a safe environment. You will be coached to develop and improve your riding technique throughout the halfpipe, terrain park, rails and trail runs, receiving individual feedback in a positive learning environment. |
Daily sessions involve 2 hours of freestyle coaching at 1.50pm and, for the complete Burton experience, Burton freestyle board and boots are included for use during the session.

Nikita Chickita Freestyle Sessions

This is strictly girls only, designed for beginner and intermediate level riders and skiers. Some of the South Island's top skiers and riders will be coaching and we have just 99 spaces available to fill. There will be loads of goodies up for grabs including a new 2010 Nikita Outerwear package! |
The day will include a champagne breakfast, tubing, lunch, new tricks, prizes and more all in for just $115 per person.

TNT Freestyle
Want to be part of a new and exciting freestyle ski and snowboard programme at the Remarkables?
TNT Freestyle offers training for aspiring athletes aged 10 and older wishing to enter or progress in the art of freestyle skiing or snowboarding. Park & pipe, skier & boarder cross, video analysis, local comps & much more.
The programmes run by TNT include a school holiday camp in July and one, two or, in the case of the new Academy, four days training and coaching per week throughout the season.
A line up of some of New Zealand’s leading free skiers and snowboarders will be coaching the team including Dan Grenville, Henry Balwin and Mark Anderson. In addition The Remarkables Parklife team will be assisting the coaches and mentoring of the athletes.

Terms and Conditions Relating to Coaching or Instructing at The Remarkables Ski Area
Regardless of whether there is a fee involved or not,
a person cannot:
1. Coach, instruct or demonstrate any snow sport activity
(including but not limited to skiing & snowboard)
to another person or persons within the licensed area
of The Remarkables Ski Area. Approval is at the discretion
of Ski Area Management.
2. Take video footage for instruction or coaching purposes
within the licenced area of The Remarkables.
Exceptions are made if you are teaching direct family
members and you are a not a qualified instructor (e.g.
father and son).
