Night Skiing is an absolute “must do” while in Queenstown.
Operating for well over twenty years, it’s a true favourite with locals and visitors alike, as it provides a unique evening’s entertainment and memorable snow experience.
The M1, Shirtfront, Big Easy trails and a Magic Carpet are fully flood-lit from top to bottom, catering to every level of ability. Ski / board under the floodlights with the stars sparkling above and the lights of Queenstown below, it’s simply magical!
The restaurant and bar are open until 9pm, serving a fantastic range of hot meals and/or a warming glass of mulled wine or hot chocolate. Live entertainment frequently plays, adding to the atmosphere.
Private lessons are available during Night Skiing (bookings essential).
Open Friday and
Saturday nights, July to mid September, weather/snow conditions permitting.

- on the mountain at the Guest Services ticket office
- the Queenstown downtown Snow Centre
- or via our secure online
system
Special discounts are available on group bookings for lift, lesson and rental products for groups of 10 or more people. For group discounts contact groups@nzski.com
LIFT PASS CONDITIONS
Children aged 6 & under receive FREE day lift passes at Coronet Peak & Mt Hutt, and Children aged 10 & under at The Remarkables every day of the season. Proof of age may be required.
Youth rates where available apply to those aged 7 to 17 years inclusive. Proof of age may be required.
Student rates available for those in full time tertiary study in Australia or New Zealand only. Student ID must have a validity date, photograph and must be in English. ISIC cards not accepted.
Senior rates where available apply to those aged 65 to 74 years inclusive. Proof of age may be required.
Super Senior, adults aged 75 years and over, receive FREE day lift passes at Coronet Peak, The Remarkables & Mt Hutt every day of the season.
Adult rates where available apply to those who fall outside the above definitions, i.e. aged between 18 and 64 years inclusive.
