Where in the world?

New Zealand is in the South Pacific Region. It lies between latitude’s 35 and 47 degrees south.

What is the weather like?

The winter time is May to October. Average day time temperatures at this time of year range from -3 ēC to 12ēC (26ºF to 54ºF).

The ski area temps range from -6 ēC to 10ēC (21ºF to 50ºF) but may get lower than this, so thermal clothing and warm, waterproof jackets are essential items to have with you at all times.
