WOW feels like summer has just passed us by! It is very exciting times here with a huge development programme in place - NEW 6 seat Detachable chair, NEW trails, NEW snow making system, NEW car park and road realignment & 4km of sealed road!! We can't wait for winter and it looks like winter can't wait to get here!!
Please check the local Queenstown forecast for updates. Always bring a coat when visiting The Remarkables, the weather can be variable in the mountain environmemnt.
We have relocated the access gate to the ski area down to the 12km mark. All public access by vehicle stops at this point and foot access only is permitted beyond here. This is because of the construction taking place in the car parks and around the base area. Heavy machinery is operating there. Safe walking access is provided, please follow the signage on site.
Early purchase season passes are now on sale and that deal ends 20th March so get it sorted and don't be disappointed! With 4km of sealed road the journey here just got a whole lot easier. We can't wait for winter & to share it with you.
