Is there staff transport to and from the mountain?
- Yes. Each rostered working day you can take staff transport to and from the mountain
Where is it better to live: Queenstown or Methven?
OR work: Coronet Peak, The Remarkables or Mt Hutt?
- Firstly, do your research – have a look on the internet and see what others have to say. There is no doubt that the towns and mountains are different, but one is not better than the other – it all depends on what you are looking for. Each place and mountain has it’s own benefits that could suit your lifestyle, skills and experience
Will my ski/snowboard instructor qualifications (e.g. BASI, CSIA, PSIA, and APSI) from overseas be recognised?
- Generally yes. It would always be a good idea to check this with New Zealand Immigration, but if your qualification is internationally recognised it should be recognised in New Zealand
Do you conduct phone interviews?
- The majority of our interviews are face-to-face, however phone interviews are sometimes arranged
What are my chances of getting a job?
- The ski areas are highly sought after winter playgrounds and we receive many more applications than vacancies. Therefore, selection for jobs is a competitive process so we cannot realistically judge who may gain employment in advance
- Selection is on merit and not first-come-first-served. All applications received by the closing date/s will be considered
Can I email my CV directly to you or earlier than usual?
- No. Please only send your details via the Apply Online system
- Early applications via email will not be considered. In fairness to all candidates we have a set period of time for recruitment
